Kavi Billing Email Templates

Table C.1. Kavi Billing Automated Email

Automated Email
Automated email is sent in response to actions that occur independently of administrator action. For example, a new bill can be created because someone has applied for a membership online. The administrator does not have to create this bill by hand since the bill is created automatically as part of the signup process. This automated action (the creation of the bill) will trigger the associated automated email template (in this case, New Bill Notice).

These templates are associated with a specific action. Administrators have the option of sending the email, or operating in "stealth mode" by not sending notification of the changes they are making.

Automated Email
Automated email is sent in response to actions that occur independently of administrator action. For example, a new user can be created because someone filled out the Company Representative Sign Up form. The administrator does not have to add this user by hand since the user is adding themselves. This automated action (the creation of a new user) will trigger the associated automated email template (in this case, New User Signup).

Password Changed Email

When a user changes their password online

User Activated Email When a user account is activated (status changes from inactive to active). User accounts can be activated manually or as result of a membership renewal.

When a user is activated using an upload and the 'Notify Users of Changes in Status' option is set to 'No'

User Deactivated Email When a user account is deactivated (status changes from active to inactive). User accounts can be deactivated manually or when archiving an expired membership.

User Info Changed Email When a user's information is edited

Company Info Changed Email When a company's information is edited

When an administrator edits a company manually and selects 'No' to the 'Notify Company' question

When company information is edited using an upload and the 'Notify Companies of Edits' option is set to 'No'

Renewal Link Requested Email

When a user's email address is entered on the public Membership Renewal page

The content of this email can be context-sensitive if the 'public_email_errors' option is set to 'No'. If the email address entered is unrecognized by the system or if it belongs to someone who cannot renew a membership, the email text will explain this.

Password Requested Email

When a user's email address is entered on the Password Help page

The content of this email can be context-sensitive if the "public_email_errors" option is set to 'No'. If the email address entered is unrecognized by the system or if it belongs to someone who cannot renew a membership, the email text will explain this.

Company Added Email

When a new company is added

When a company membership application is approved/becomes current
