Akoma Ntoso Version 1.0 becomes an OASIS Standard

The standard gives a framework for producing structured, machine readable legal content such as legislative, regulatory, and judicial documents.

OASIS is pleased to announce that Akoma Ntoso Version 1.0 has been approved by the membership as an OASIS Standard [1].

The ballot was held under the OASIS call for consent procedure [2]. Under this procedure, consent is assumed unless eligible voters register valid objections. In the ballot, Akoma Ntoso Version 1.0 received 20 affirmative consents and no objections. Therefore the standard is approved.

TC Administration will now prepare and publish the final OASIS Standard and notify members when it is available.
