Invitation to comment on Customer Data Platform v1.0 – ends Sept. 12th

OASIS and the OASIS Context Server (CXS) TC are pleased to announce that Customer Data Platform Version 1.0 is now available for public review and comment.

This specification aims to standardize exchange of customer data across systems and silos by defining a web-based API using GraphQL.

The CXS TC was chartered to create specifications for a Customer Data Platform (CDP) as a core technology for enabling the delivery of personalized user experiences. The goal is to assist organizations that currently struggle to create and deliver consistent personalized experiences across channels, markets, and systems. The CDP will simplify management, integration, and interoperability between solutions providing services like Web Content Management, CRM, BigData, Machine Learning, Digital Marketing, and Data Management Platforms. It can support standardized ways of complying with requirements for customer privacy and consent management.

This is the first publication of an OASIS Work Product in which the AsciiDoc text document format is used as the editable source.
