Subject: RE: [dita] Complexity of bookmap content model
Hi too, Is there a notation that defines a sequence of volumes? According to the Lucent DTD, to define multiple volumes, you define multiple books. When you have an appendix inside the part, is it always inside the last part? 2. When inside the part, are the appendices mixed with the chapters, or are they always at the end of the part? The model you suggested (and the model in the current demo bookmap) allows users to create a chapter, then an appendix, then another chapter, etc, inside any part. 3. With the current proposed model, the appendices are between the last part and the back matter. It should not be too difficult for a processing override to move these into the last part, rather than leaving them where they appear in the map. Would that be an acceptable solution? If this is a common need, I could even see controlling that placement through parameters in the PDF stylesheets.
