Lisa Dyer---09/19/2011 10:35:13 AM---Aaron, here is the draft charter for the DITA for Programmer Content to which we want to incorporate From: Lisa Dyer/Austin/IBM To: Aaron LaBella/Burlington/IBM@IBMUS Cc: Eric Sirois/Toronto/IBM@IBMCA Date: 09/19/2011 10:35 AM Subject: Fw: [dita] Charter for the proposed DITA for programmers subcommittee Aaron, here is the draft charter for the DITA for Programmer Content to which we want to incorporate the work you and Eric have done. - EOD today - Would you please add a bullet each under Goals and Deliverables to summarize? I will take the revised charter to the DITA TC tomorrow (9/20) for a vote. And then, the fun can begin in earnest :-) Eric, in case you missed last week's DITA TC call: - Michael Priestley made me aware of this work and requested that the DITA for Programmer Content sub-committee would include in its charter--which I think is a fantastic idea. So I briefly chatted with Aaron this morning to understand the scope, SME commitments/bandwidth, and general timeline. (I think it's safe to assume we have all of 2012 if needed to deliver this work, given expected DITA 1.3 timeline.)
