We have discussed moving forward to start the core XML format of WAS. This will allow those wanting to get “under the hood” with the technicalities of the project to get underway now rather than having to wait until the classification scheme and risk ranking model are complete. Mark Curphey will create the Thesaurus and Risk Ranking model in parallel which will be approved by the group in due course.
By approving this notion the core work on WAS will start this Thursday.
