XML Interchange Language for System Dynamics (XMILE) Version 1.0 completed its 60 day public review and received comments. The TC has determined that the comments require no changes to the current Committee Specification. Passing this ballot will result in an OASIS membership ballot being started to consider approving the Candidate OASIS Standard. The ballot requires that 15% of the OASIS member companies vote in favor. If less than 15% vote in favor or if more than 25% vote against, the ballot will fail. There are currently 307 OASIS member companies (although this number may change before the ballot). Using this number, at least 47 companies must vote in favor to pass.
This ballot requires a Special Majority Vote. The TC roster currently lists 7 voting members. In order to pass, at least 5 (2/3 x 7) members have to vote Yes and no more than 1 (1/4 x 7) members may vote No.
