The Customer Information Quality Technical Committee of Oasis has accepted the CRML specification originally developed by MSI Business Solutions Pty Ltd. Until now the committee has focused on definitions for data such as name, address or phone number which describe customers themselves. The CRML specification adds definitions for non-address data such as communications devices, email and personal details. It is based on the existing xCIL and xNAL specifications for customer data.
