Description
This ballot asks if you approve submitting Key Management Interoperability Protocol Specification Version 1.4 CS01 and Key Management Interoperability Protocol Profiles Version 1.4 CS01 to the members of OASIS as Candidate OASIS Standards (COS). Please cast one vote for each Committee Specification below. Your choices for each are Yes (approve), No (disapprove) or Abstain. Approving these specifications will result in a 60-day public review for each after which, if no comments are received, the COSs will be submitted to a membership-wide call for consent. If comments are received, the TC will be asked to vote by Special Majority Ballot on whether to continue. This is explained in TC Process section 2.8.3 Call for consent for OASIS Standard [4]. This ballot requires a Special Majority Vote [5]. The TC roster currently lists 27 voting members. In order to pass, at least 18 (2/3 x 27) members have to vote Yes and no more than 6 (1/4 x 27) members may vote No. Key Management Interoperability Protocol Specification Version 1.4 [1] was approved as a Committee Specification on 18 June 2017.
