Description
The Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP) is an open internet protocol for business messaging. AMQP defines a
message property user-id by which the sender of the message be identified. Intermediaries MAY validate this user-id against
the identity associated with the connection on which the message has been sent. Containers MAY authenticate with their peer
prior to the establishment of the AMQP connection (e.g. using SASL). The knowledge required for this authentication step is
not, in general, enough to establish the identity which the peer will associate with the connection. This specification defines a
mechanism for communicating this identity at the time of connection establishment via the use of a connection property.
