Description

On June 19, 2020 a ballot for the question: " Do you approve the OpenC2 MQTT Transfer Specification v1.0 Working Draft (WD) 03 and all associated artifacts as Committee Specification Draft 01?" was opened. The Ballot did in fact pass on June 25, 2020, however due to a technical issue, some eligible voters were not able to vote and the ballot closed prematurely. The purpose of this ballot is to permit the voting members to state their position on the question for the record. The results of the previous question hold. WD 03 was posted to OASIS on 15 June 2020. The co-chairs of the Implementation Consideration Subcommittee have recommended that the OpenC2 TC approve this version as CSD01, in keeping with the TC's incremental approach to specification development. The WD will be frozen for 14 days from the opening of the ballot. WD03 is available in the TC's document repository at: https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=67287&wg_abbrev=openc2 (public URL) and also can be viewed on GH at: https://github.com/oasis-tcs/openc2-transf-mqtt/blob/release/transf-mqtt-v1.0-wd01.md (this URL does point to WD03 despite the filename) Reviewer attention is directed primarily to Section 2 and Appendix A. The editors are seeking feedback on general direction of the document, especially from TC members with experience implementing / using MQTT. WD 03 was posted to OASIS on 15 June 2020. The co-chairs of the Implementation Consideration Subcommittee have recommended that the OpenC2 TC approve this version as CSD01, in keeping with the TC's incremental approach to specification development. The WD will remain frozen until July 5, 2020.
