Version 3.0 work

Part 2: Advanced features

Bundling:

Pim has posted an updated draft of the spec and has updated the current bundling section especially the “in order” processing along with some tidying.  Pim believes this section is now complete and needs reviewing by the team.

Pim, completed a revision for applying many of the last few weeks comments and tidying the error section.  It also specifically address concerns and issues around the handling of expired messages when acting in an intermediary role.  This is an optimisation that may be implemented to reduce unnecessary processing.

Ian asked Pim if any questions/issues outstanding – he believes the spec just needs reviewing and tidying and clarifying text, 1 Pmode (section 4.3) may be missing.  This may be related to signal messages being pulled.  Option on sending errors from the core spec can be sent to an intermediary and the user needs to pull this err – so a pull mode for end points is needed to get these errors from the intermediary.   Jacques agreed to write something to start to address this.

Action: All to review current V3 advanced features spec. and post any questions / issues and proposed solutions if you have one.

Ian has contacted TC Admin about the vote and it is held up in and miss request – Ian will resolve with TC admin.

AS4-SC Report

GS-1 has surveyed its members and had a good majority for recommending AS4 as a future standard and that software vendors should support interoperability via testing.
