Ballot Details: Continue submitting Energy Interoperation 1.0 to OASIS membership (CLOSED)

Ballot Question Do you approve continuing with the submission of Energy Interoperation Version 1.0 with Non-Material Changes [1] to the OASIS membership for consideration for OASIS Standard?
Ballot Description Energy Interoperation Version 1.0 completed its 60 day public review and received comments. The TC made changes to the Candidate OASIS Standard to address these comments.

Changes made in the Energy Interoperation 1.0 specification are to References that were out-of-date and to use the current OASIS reference format; the XML Schema is now correctly referenced. TC Admin will ensure that links in the published OASIS Standard will be correct and current for previous and this version.

The complete description of changes is in the file named energyinterop-v1.0-spec-wd42-with-changes-cos01.pdf in the complete ZIP archive of the Work Product at https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=53093&wg_abbrev=energyinterop. This is also directly available in PDF at https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=53093&wg_abbrev=energyinterop. The changes are also described at
https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/energyinterop/document.php?document_id=53093. Changes were accepted to the Tables in the front matter to make the Diff-marked PDF readable.

The TC judges the changes to be non-material and non-substantive in nature as
reflected in the difference-marked PDF for the specification.

Passing this ballot will result in an OASIS membership ballot being started to consider approving the Candidate OASIS Standard. The ballot requires that 15% of the OASIS member companies vote in favor. If less than 15% vote in favor or if more than 25% vote against, the ballot will fail. There are currently 294 OASIS member companies (although this number may change before the ballot). Using this number, at least 45 companies must vote in favor to pass.

This ballot requires a Special Majority Vote. The TC roster currently lists 11 voting members. In order to pass, at least 8 (2/3 x 11) members have to vote Yes and no more than 2 (1/4 x 11) members may vote No.

This is explained in TC Process section 3.4.3, Balloting for OASIS Standard approval [2].
