Description

MQTT Version 3.1.1 COS01 [2] completed its 60 day public review and received comments [3]. The TC has made changes to the Candidate OASIS Standard to address these comments. In accordance with section 3.4.2, ‘Public Review of a Candidate OASIS Standard’ of the OASIS TC Process [4], the TC affirms that: (a) This Working Draft of MQTT Version 3.1.1 [1] contains changes from Candidate OASIS Standard 01 [2]; (b) The changes are documented in [3]; (c) The changes are Non-Material; and (d) The changes were made ONLY to address the comments received during the public review period. Do you now approve https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/mqtt/download.php/54008/mqtt-v3.1.1-cos02.doc as Candidate OASIS Standard 02 (replacing COS 01) and submitting this COS to the OASIS membership for consideration for OASIS Standard? Passing this ballot will result in the publishing of Candidate OASIS Standard 02 and an OASIS membership ballot to consider approving it as an OASIS Standard. This ballot requires a Special Majority Vote. The TC roster currently lists 18 voting members. In order to pass, at least 12 (2/3 x 18) members have to vote Yes and no more than 4 (1/4 x 18) members may vote No. —- Additional links [1] https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/mqtt/download.php/54008/mqtt-v3.1.1-cos02.doc [2] http://docs.oasis-open.org/mqtt/mqtt/v3.1.1/cos01/mqtt-v3.1.1-cos01.html [3] https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/mqtt/download.php/54013/MQTT_TC_%20COS1_COS2_ChangeLog.odt [4] https://www.oasis-open.org/policies-guidelines/tc-process#OASISstandard
