Description

Rationale for proposed change The resource shape referenced in an oslc:QueryCapability does not distinguish between properties that might appear in members found by the query and that may specified in an oslc.select parameter, from properties that may be queried and specified in an oslc.where parameter. Proposed change to core vocabulary https://tools.oasis-open.org/version-control/browse/wsvn/oslc-core/trunk/specs/core-vocab.html Add new term for oslc:queryable as follows: http://open-services.net/ns/core#queryable queryable is an RDF property. true if the property is queryable through being specified in an oslc.where parameter (see https://tools.oasis-open.org/version-control/browse/wsvn/oslc-core/trunk/specs/oslc-query.html). If omitted, or set to true, then the property is queryable. Proposed change to draft query spec, section 6 https://tools.oasis-open.org/version-control/browse/wsvn/oslc-core/trunk/specs/oslc-query.html Section 6, approve the following proposed last paragraph: The resource shape referenced by oslc:valueShape in the query result container's resource shape SHOULD declare the properties that can be used in oslc.select and optionally oslc.where. OSLC properties that have a oslc:queryable "false"^^xsd:boolean value cannot be specified in oslc.where. Where a member resource supports nested properties, for example, the foaf:name of a dcterms:creator, the member resource shape MAY provide a oslc:valueShape for that property. When specified, this allows clients to discover nested properties that might be used.
