LwDITA SC Meeting Notes, 6 March 2023 ROLL CALL Frank Wegman Michael Priestley Mark Giffin Dana Aubin Regrets: Jenifer Schlotfeldt 1. Approve minutes of previous meeting 23 January 2023, submitted by Dana Aubin (https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/70710/lwDITA_SC_minutes_23_January_2023.txt) APPROVED Moved to approve Frank; Seconded by Michael. Are the goals of DITA the same? Are the goals of lwDITA the same as when we started the subcommittee ~9 years ago? From a previous conversation, we stated that no one uses hdita, however, Robohelp is an implementation of HDITA. They donÕt market it, but it is a feature used internally. We used to track who is using lwDITA, but weÕre no longer using it. Feeling is that users are using mdita and vendors are using hdita. Vendors using html for editors not xml but hdita allows to share. We should do research/a study to determine who is using it. We discussed some people/companies whoÕve talked about lwDITA. Static site generators using common mark. Frank has used HUGO in which some things work, but some things donÕt. Radu has a related article on the Oxygen blog. https://blog.oxygenxml.com/topics/publishing_dita_content_using_a_markdown_static_web_site_generator.htmlÊ https://www.rws.com/content-management/fonto/ asciidoc is a lightweight docboo. ----- Saved the following agenda items for when Kris is able to attend. ------ 2.
