A motion to amend the charter to change the name of the TC from Topic Maps Published Subjects TC to Published Subjects TC was made and seconded.

The motion carried.

A motion was made to hold a 'nocturne' public meeting of the TC on November 12, 2004 in connection with the XML 2004 conference was made and seconded.

Vote: Ayes: 7, Nays: 0, Abstentions: 0

The motion carried.

Patrick Durusau was tasked with arranging for the room and drafting the announcement of the nocturne and change of name for the TC.

Members of the committee will post announcements of the 'nocturne' once the text of the announcement has been agreed upon on the Published Subjects mailing list.
