Announcements
Dale is working on an XML-based schema and form for issue and comment submission; he hopes to distribute it for comment shortly.
Dale has been collecting errors reported against version 2.
Pallavi sent her regrets that she can't participate further in CPPA, at least for the short term.
Discussion
Marty has reported a couple errors in the specification that Arvola has responded to (see recent discussion on the list). Dale commented that they're relatively minor errors. In addition, Dale noted the need to observe the bold italics convention in a couple places. Regarding the current use of a location attribute for NamespaceSupported (instead of the preferable schemaLocation) we'll leave it alone and just document it. Dale proposed to make the changes and label the result version 2_0b. Since no one was opposed, Dale will do so.
According to Dale, Karl Best of OASIS will make the announcement that our specification is out for review next week.
All three members that provided successful use statements have published statements further acknowledging their awareness of IBM's IPR claim.
Dale expects fixing of non-substantive typos and such to be finalized by July 1. We'll leave the errata page for significant public review comments. Dale suggested setting up a comment review team when comments start arriving.
We discussed the draft proposal for a resolution on IPR concerns that Jamie posted to the list. Jamie saw no burning need to take it up before the next voting meeting; discussion can occur on list. Voting will probably be by email.
Next Meeting
There will be another teleconference next week on June 28. We won't meet on July 5.
