HM: Updates from sub-committees?
MS: Discussing what's negotiable in different elements of CPA. Hima proposed BPSS and CPA for negotiation. Will discuss in next weeks call. Marty has put together a template for specification document. Won't publish it for a while
JC: Will this become a separate document or become part of core CPPA specification.
MS: Thinks it's a separate specification. CPA composition chapter a big piece of negotiation document.
TF: If it were smaller then would be fair to make it part of the CPPA specification.
MS: Apply most of the negotiation specification to negotiating other agreements. NDD should be abstract enough to apply to other negotiation XML documents.
JC: What does an agreement refer to?
MS: NDD may be applicable to any other XML schema.
TF: Is it worth having two versions, one tied to CPPA and other being more general.
MS: Depends on how long it would take to do a general process. Big piece is to agree on NDD.
JC: More things to do that will come up.
TF: Mailed out comments on Technical Architecture to ebtwg mailing list. Contains a summary of what BTP is. Will send it to BTP sublist .
TF: Web Services sub-lead and lead. Look for alternates?
JC: Helpful to get more comments from other people about the statement proposed 06/20/2002 regarding the IPR.
