Minutes:

  1. Discussion about the negotiation BPSS and CPA.
    1. Inner collaborations and how they are denoted.
    2. Clarified significance of Start elements in the BPSS BinaryCollaboration.
    3. We’ll use the combination of CPA and BPSS to enforce that the inner collaboration has to be started as part of the external collaboration
    4. Action Item: Hima to forward the comment to ebXML BPSS team.
    5. Action Item: Hima to add a descriptive PreCondition Element to BPSS spec.
    6. Action Item: To add xml description to indicate that document has to be included in the BPSS instance schema for the actual business documents. Also add comments to add specificationId to identify the particular element.

  1. Discussion about XpathExpression and how it can be used in the BPSS instance
    1. Hima mentioned that there exists specificationID which can be used to identify the particular element for that particular business document.
    2. With this we don’t need Xpath Expression to identify for the BSI.

  1. Discussion about Message
    1. Jean will update the message content based on BPSS.
    2. CpaId would be the CpaId of the CPA being negotiated.
    3. Agreed that party initiating CPA negotiation will generate a CPAID and will be included in the negotiation messages.
    4. Exchange of CPA under construction ---

1.      Exchanged with every transaction.

2.      Only at the end. This would imply that we need one more business transaction to send the final CPA

3.      Decided to send CPA only at the end (2); both Parties will separately track the progress of the CPA.

4.      Question on who sends the Final CPA…. Would it be the initiator of the final counter offer or acceptor of final offer?

5.      Action Item: Hima to check on who sends the final CPA.

6.      Dale mentioned that there should be a signed CPA as response to a signed CPA after final CPA is accepted.

7.      No counter offer after final CPA is accepted and signing process. There can only be a reject of the final signed CPA or a signed CPA.

  1. Question about document being done by Dale. Is it Schema or some other content type?
  2. Jean has identified that XPATH to be used for identifying what values can be negotiated? Fine with that…
  3. Decided that the NDD will not change during the negotiation; information about ongoing negotiation state will be in the negotiation messages.
  4. Any descriptive text for the BPSS and CPA to be part of the spec. Hima to work on it…
