Feb Conference call

Kevin Liu/SAP will be hosting the call
Should be planning for less than 10 callers every time
No international number is needed

Volunteers to review the two negotiation related ebXML documents

Heiko will review ecommerce pattern
Kartha will review ebXML automatical negotiation process
Both will not be able to attend the F2F meeting this month, but will follow-up and update the sub team in conference calls in Feb or remotely in F2F meeting

Context discussion in the CPPA list

Marty/Kartha pointed out that it’s primarily a BP issue, but should be agreed by two parties
This sub team should be aware of this issue, and the CPPA team shall discuss this issue in more detail

Document Review Minutes

We continued the line-by-line review of the document, beginning with section 2.12 in this latest version (Negotiation.req.10Jan02.doc).

Section 2.12

Okay.

Team agreed that Intermediary shall not be precluded even in the case of CPA template, two reasons were discussed:

- analogy to real estate broker (suggested by Marty)

- Kartha suggested a use case that party A may not want its identity be known by other parties, Peter pointed out the party info is in the CPA and this can not be achived.

Section 2.13

Team agreed that this section should be an introduction to the following sections. Marty will adjust the text, Kevin will come up with a flow chart to describe the process

Line 416 - Team agreed that this line’s confusing and should be deleted
Line 420-422 – Text OK. Marty suggested that these three bullets should be represented in the flow chart as a general Negotiation Process box

Section 2.14

Line 429-430 Marty will add the word "publication"

Section 2.15

Text Ok.

Team already agreed that discovery is out-of –scope, this section is here just for the sake of describing the general negotiation process.

Section 2.16

Section 2.17

Marty will add examples per Perter’s suggestion

Section 2.18 – 2.20

Marty asked if those sub headers should be filled in with more text, team agreed details can be postponed until the specification process.

Deliverables Section

Heiko suggested to add a section for Deliverables. Marty will add a sub header in this doc and team will discuss more in next meeting
