Heiko Negotiation Patterns (subsequently postponed until face to face)

The Negotiation team will have its face to face on Wednesday, 12:30 to 5 PM, Wednesday, January 30, 2002 in the same room as the CPPA team.

Review of Changes Before Section 3.

No discussion.

Kevin’s diagram review.

Add NDD as input to top level for both sides.

Add words on formation as outside the scope.

Add words that NDD schema to be created.

Supplying both template and CPP.

Revise diagram so that decision box at "Is there a CPA template?" is modified to ask "Is CPA formation from CPPs to be used?"

No assumption being made about request or response roles and the initiator of Negotiation.

Group No, Kevin’s diagram with today’s additions is more complete.

Marty: There are things that, with Duane N’s permission, we may wish to use, with appropriate acknowledgment.

Negotiation patterns postponed to start of face to face.Heiko to present. Will also send a glossary to the list.

Heiko and Marty discuss the glossary and note taker, while interrupted by urgent email, remembers that:

CPPA glossary items will not be duplicated.

CPPA version probably 2.0 but TBD.

Requirement discussion will not be the focus, as it is basically complete.

Tasking for specification work will be the focus!
