Minutes

Attendance: Peter F Brown, Nig Greenaway, Chris Parker,Geoff Clarke, Gershon Janssen

1. Election of Chair: There was one candidate, Nig Greenaway, who was elected unanimously. Nig thanked Peter for acting as interim chair

2. Current status of work: Nig took the meeting through the current projects that are of interest to TGF, including work in ISO, in ISO/IEC JTC1, BSI, as well as related initiatives in both public and private sector (see earlier mail from Nig for details)

3. Chris updated meeting on proposed new BSI PAS 184 (covering work required to develop smart city solutions). A lot of interest and concern about the role and importance of measurements and performance indicators.

4. Peter commented on a new initiative within JTC1/SC40 to review the overall structure of IT governance standards as well as the report due to be heard at the plenary on the mapping

5. Next meeting: 15.30 EDT on Thursday, 26 May
