Scribe Approve minutes from 27th November TBP Outstanding JLIFF schema issues checking URIs vs IRIs Steven: I didn’t get a chance to send that. Can we specify in a schema if we validate by IRI vs. URI David: This is still unsolved in XML as well. It is not a very useful validation actually because it is very tricky to test URIs. Robert: I left it unconstrained because the RFC standard is a “moving standard”, and we worried about interoperability. Steven: There are subtypes that are used that make sense for a JLIFF document. David: Can ABNF be used to validate in JSON schema? Steven: https://tools.ietf.org/html/bcp47#section-2.1 David: Unless we can validate ABNF in JSON, we may need to put this in the prose documentation. Steven: I have found a large RegEx expression to validate this. Robert: Keep in mind that RegEx is limited in JSON Schema (no lookahead / lookbehind) Steven: It may be possible to have something that is slightly too permissive, to catch most cases, but possibly not all.
Action: Robert will look at the large RegEx expression
Prefixing modules vs. Grouping modules data [Robert might have started experimenting with this in a separate folder. Prefixing considered canonical for now] Robert: did this work in JLIFF 2.1 Action: Steven will check this as well AIRobert: Change examples to use prefixes for modules Review prose spec progress for both JLIFF and OM Action: David will be developing the XLIFF Prague paper to hopefully review by the next meeting Action: James will work on TBX Mapping, goal to finish by end of Feb.
