ExtendedRequest

We held a working group call 1/14 to discuss ExtendedRequest.  JeffB sent out a revised draft of these elements in [2]. Goal is to discuss 

any further issues this raises and agree that we have the rig model with which to move forward.
 
-         No specific thoughts.
-         ExtendedRequest Schema has been dropped in core specification.
-         Rami:  In XML schema, LDAP name provider is without the (i)
-         JeffB is going to take comments out of XSD file, next draft.

Core Specification

An editors draft of the core specification document is available in [3].  DR to provide a brief introduction to the format/layout and contents. 

Goal: agree layout and sections. Specifics to discuss: 

 

1.  Use of a consistent data/use case throughout the specification.  
-         Choose a single working exchange
-         Provisioning an email box (generic) for a user
 
2.  Identify what two defined examples we will use in section 8 (Examples)
-         Doron:  Request/Response schema concern.  Return type is not in schema.
-         JeffB:  Are you talking about status request or cancel request?
-         Makes sense for long-lived operations.
-         Section 7 would be able to pull normative text on this.  Was not deliberately omitted.
-         Doron:  Motion:  Removing generically the current response that the request would have if it were completed at this point.
-         JeffB:  Missing is the ability to query for schema… � Work on provisioning schema.
