Comment:I have to ask myself why we are working on an ODF specification. My own answer to this question is to provide an open standard that promotes interoperability. I believe that ODF 1.0 and 1.1 are doing that job (but of course can be improved.) I would therefore expect that we in fact publish the authoritative version of any future version of ODF in an open standardized format, rather than a program specific format, e.g. OpenOffice.org's format (that erroneously is called ODF 1.2). |
