Comment:In the future when we are not rev'ing the spec every 6 months, a registry makes sense.
Also, as I believe we are forcing strict version numbers (you can't parse a 2.0 as 2.1), the issue that RFC6648 has w/ the x_ being de facto standard is not an issue here. |
