HOW TO REACH GRENOBLE

BY AIR

You can choose one of the following airports:

  • Grenoble-Saint-Geoirs is a national airport served by flights from Paris. From this airport, you can take a bus shuttle to Grenoble bus station (about 40 minutes).
  • Lyon-Saint-Exupéry is an international airport served by most major airline companies. From there, you can take a bus shuttle to Grenoble bus station (about 60 minutes) or a TGV train to Grenoble railway station. The timetable of the bus shuttle is available at the Lyon-Saint-Exupéry airport web site.
  • Genéve-Cointrin is an international airport in Switzwerland. From there, you can take a train to Grenoble (about 2-3 hours).

BY TRAIN

If you are already in Paris, you can take the high-speed train "TGV" from Paris "Gare de Lyon" to Grenoble railway station (travel time: about 3 hours).

The timetable of the TGV is available at the SNCF web site, http://www.sncf.com/

BY CAR

You can use the following web site ViaMichelin to find your way.
From the Saint Exupéry Airport (or from Lyon), enter the highway (number A43) direction Grenoble-Chambery.
The section of the highway between Saint Exupéry and Grenoble is not free of charge.
Later, the highway will split in two: Grenoble and Chambery. Choose direction Grenoble.
10 km before Grenoble, you have to leave the "paying section" of the highway. The price is approximately 8 euros.
After paying, you are still on the highway, but on the free of charge section. Continue in direction of Grenoble. As the highway splits in different points, choose direction "Grenoble Centre".
Then you enter on another highway (number A41) that goes from Grenoble to Chambery.
Follow the highway a few kilometers and then leave (on the right) at the highway exit named "St-Ismier / Montbonnot / Domene".
Then, you arrive at a roundabout. Turn around and exit on the left, direction Montbonnot.
Then, you are on a bridge above the A41 highway. Just after turn left direction Montbonnot.
At the next crossing, take on the left. Then you are on the "Avenue de l'Europe". Number 180 Avenue de l'Europe is Sun building.
