UBL Naming and Design Rules Version 3.0
Committee Specification Draft 02
16 December 2015

Specification Overview:

This specification prescribes a set of naming and design rules used to create XML document model validation artefacts (W3C Schema XSD files and OASIS Context/value association files) associated with abstract information bundles formally described using the Core Component Technical Specification 2.01 [CCTS].

** Also, please note this specific request from the TC **

Proposals are being considered to retitle this work product. Candidate new titles will be welcome as part of the public review. Two of the candidates being considered are:

- "Core Component Technical Specification 2.01 XML Naming and Design Rules Version 1.0", and

- "ebXML Business Document Naming and Design Rules Version 1.0".

Changing the title is not expected to change the body of the document in any way.

Reviewers with an opinion regarding these or other proposed title changes are invited to include comment about this in their response.

Public Review Period:

The public review starts 27 January 2016 at 00:00 UTC and ends 10 February 2016 at 11:59 UTC. The specification was previously submitted for public review [2].

This is an open invitation to comment. OASIS solicits feedback from potential users, developers and others, whether OASIS members or not, for the sake of improving the interoperability and quality of its technical work.
