30-day Public Review for Transformational Government Framework (#TGF) e-Health Profile Version 2.0 – ends May 1st

The OASIS Transformational Government Framework TC [1] members have recently approved a Committee Note Draft (CSD) and submitted it for 30-day public review:

Transformational Government Framework e-Health Profile Version 2.0
Committee Note Draft 01 / Public Review Draft 01
19 March 2015

Overview:

This Committee Note contains detailed information and guidance on using the Transformational Government Framework (TGF) and other OASIS standards to support the work of the delivery of e-Health services provided in the home or in the community. It identifies in particular which of the Core Patterns and Policy Products are relevant and where necessary elaborates them more specifically to the e-Health domain.

By applying the principles and good practices of the TGF to the setting up and management of e-Health programmes, all stakeholders should be able to deliver a more effective and efficient response to the future needs of patients and healthcare practitioners.

TC Description:

The Transformational Government TC advances an overall framework for using information technology to improve the delivery of public services. Unlike traditional e-Government strategies of the past, Transformational Government begins with citizen engagement to assure greater use and return on investment.

The work of the TC includes defining the framework, identifying use cases, and providing adoption guidance for governments around the world, regardless of their history in implementing eGov.

Public Review Period:

The public review starts 02 April 2015 at 00:00 UTC and ends 01 May 2015 at 23:59 UTC.

This is an open invitation to comment. OASIS solicits feedback from potential users, developers and others, whether OASIS members or not, for the sake of improving the interoperability and quality of its technical work.
