30-day Public Review for #WS-BRSP Reliable Secure Profile Version 1.0

The OASIS Web Services Basic Reliable and Secure Profiles (WS-BRSP) TC [1] members have recently approved a Committee Specification Draft (CSD) and submitted them for 30-day public review:

Specification Overviews:

Reliable Secure Profile Version 1.0 defines the WS-I Reliable Secure Profile Version 1.0 consisting of a set of non-proprietary Web services specifications, along with clarifications, refinements, interpretations and amplifications of those specifications which promote interoperability. It is profiling the use of WS-SecureConversation, WS-ReliableMessaging and WS-MakeConnection and their combination. This profile extends BP1.2 or BP2.0.

TC Description:

The OASIS WS-BRSP TC maintains WS-I (Web Services Interoperability) Basic Profiles (1.2 and 2.0), Basic Security Profile (1.0), Reliable Secure Profile (1.0), and ISO/IEC JTC 1 Profile Specifications (ISO/IEC 29361:2008 standard Information technology – Web Services Interoperability initial profiles).

Public Review Period:

The public review starts 30 September 2013 at 00:00 GMT and ends 30 October 2013 at 23:59 GMT.

This is an open invitation to comment. OASIS solicits feedback from potential users, developers and others, whether OASIS members or not, for the sake of improving the interoperability and quality of its technical work.

In connection with these public reviews, we call your attention to the OASIS IPR Policy [2] applicable especially [3] to the work of this technical committee. All members of the TC should be familiar with this document, which may create obligations regarding the disclosure and availability of a member’s patent, copyright, trademark and license rights that read on an approved OASIS specification.

OASIS invites any persons who know of any such claims to disclose these if they may be essential to the implementation of the above specification, so that notice of them may be posted to the notice page for this TC’s work.
