Identity in the Cloud Use Cases V1.0 published as a Committee Note

We are pleased to announce the approval and publication of an OASIS Committee Note (CN) by the members of the OASIS Identity in the Cloud TC [1]:

Identity in the Cloud Use Cases Version 1.0
Committee Note 01
08 May 2012

Overview:

Identity in the Cloud Use Cases V1.0 is intended to provide a set of representative use cases that examine the requirements on identity management functions as they are applied to cloud based interactions using commonly defined cloud deployment and service models. These use cases are intended to be used for further analysis to determine if functional gaps exist in current identity management standards that additional open standards activities could address.

Members of the OASIS Identity in the Cloud TC requested a Special Majority Vote to approve the Committee Note. The Committee Note Draft had been released for public review as required by the TC Process [2]. The vote to approve at Committee Note (CN) level passed [3], and the approved CN is now available online in the OASIS Library as referenced above.

Our congratulations to the TC on achieving this milestone.
