XACML 3.0 Export Compliance-US (EC-US) Profile V1.0 published

We are pleased to announce the approval and publication of a new Committee Specification by the members of the OASIS eXtensible Access Control Markup Language (XACML) TC:

Overview:

This specification defines a profile for the use of XACML in expressing policies for complying with USA government regulations for export compliance (EC). It defines standard attribute identifiers useful in such policies, and recommends attribute value ranges for certain attributes.

Members of the XACML Technical Committee [1] requested a Special Majority Vote to approve this specification as a Committee Specification. The specification had been released for public review as required by the TC Process [2]. The vote to approve as a Committee Specification passed [3], and the approved CS02 is now available online in the OASIS Library as referenced above.

Our congratulations to the TC on achieving this milestone.
