Invitation to comment on #SAML V2.0 Subject Identifier Attributes Profile V1.0 – ends Dec. 12th

OASIS and the OASIS Security Services (SAML) TC are pleased to announce that SAML V2.0 Subject Identifier Attributes Profile Version 1.0 is now available for public review and comment.

The specification standardizes two new SAML Attributes to identify security subjects, as a replacement for long-standing inconsistent practice with the <saml:NameID> and <saml:Attribute> constructs. It also addresses recognized deficiencies with the SAML persistent NameID format.
