Dear OASIS Members and Participants:
A new Open Project is starting at OASIS. We are excited to announce the launch of the Defending Against Disinformation - Common Data Model (DAD-CDM), formed to develop and promulgate an open standard for the data entities and objects needed to capture, analyze and exchange threat, source and mitigation data to defend against disinformation and related subjects.
The project's charter explains its planned purpose, intended benefits, and scope of activity [1]. This is an open invitation for you to take part.
Anyone, whether an OASIS member or not, is welcome to contribute to the work of the DAD-CDM OP. Comments, bug reports, or suggestions can be made by opening a GitHub issue (once established) or submitting email to the project's general mailing list [2]. Contributions of substantive material, such as code or documentation, will require the signing of the project's Contributor License Agreement before pull requests can be approved.
If you wish to be actively involved in supporting and governing the direction of the project, you may join it as a Sponsor. For information on becoming an OP Sponsor, please contact carol.geyer@oasis-open.org
