Notes from the ODF Teleconference today follow below.

*Patrick:*  Regina - start on page 9 of last attachment (6)

*Regina Henschel:*  If page has a vertical writing-mode and the section has set a horizontal writing mode, what should happen?

*Patrick:*  Michael - layout environments change

*Patrick:*  Micheal is vert a property on tables or cells

*Patrick:*  Section - only about layout of columns, not writing direction - do we want to restrict writing direction on columns to its layout - and not its content

*Michael Stahl:*  apparently in LO Writer there are 2 different kinds of layout environments: 1. page and frame allow all hori/vert writing modes 2. paragraph/section/table allow only hori modes with the effect that if they are contained in something that's vertical it just flips the columns/character but does not become actually horizontal

*Patrick:*  Regina - separate writing mode for content - at the table cell

*Michael Stahl:*  apparently DOCX has w:textDirection on section, table cell (not table) and paragraph

*Patrick:*  Regina - colors - ODF only has RGB with hex notation -

*Patrick:*  Regina - in practice - we need colors from OOXML - idea was to introduce the possibly to use different color notations - but also sub-colors

*Patrick:*  Regina - define an attribute with color definition to use and attribute with the string to use in that notation

*Patrick:*  Regina - will write some examples in an email - would it be a closed list of types? or namespaced string? Comments on it

*Patrick:*  Regina - main purpose is to bring OOXML feature into ODF -
