One important aspect of this workshop is to promote the awareness and implementation of new technologies that can standardize emergency management. Exhibits will be hosted throughout the workshop allowing participants to demonstrate the availability and effectiveness of interoperable technologies based on a 'Content Standard' applicable to all alerts and notifications for disasters and emergency situations. Demonstrations will show standards-based implementations already providing all-media, all-hazards public warning in various societies worldwide, in particular using the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) OASIS Standard. Other displays on activities and products for public warning may also be considered.
