The CAP Subcommittee has been working for more than two years to develop and approve an international Event Terms List. This guidance was requested by the CAP implementation community to help in the interoperability of event terms used.
The CAP SC has voted to approve the CN and advanced it to the EMTC for consideration. If the vote in the EMTC is approved, we will publish the document and request review from a very wide audience. The CAP SC also plans to conduct two subject matter expert reviews to explain the list and how it can be updated.
During the 10/27/2020 EMTC meeting this topic was discussed and members were encouraged to become familiar with the document and be prepared to vote by ballot. |
