This TC operates under the RF on Limited Terms Mode of the OASIS IPR Policy.

MSI Business Systems OASIS CIQ TC Intellectual Property Disclosure
Dated: August 14, 2002.

MSI Business Systems Pty. Ltd (formerly, Mastersoft International), Australia transferred the rights of the following XML languages that it developed to OASIS to adopt them, extend them and promote them as open industry standards:

* Name and Address Markup Language (NAML) that uses Universal Name and Address (UNA) Format of MSI Business Systems as its basis. This standard was given to OASIS in May 2000.

* Customer Identity Markup Language (CIML) that uses NAML. This standard was given to OASIS in May 2000.

* Customer Relationships Markup Language (CRML) that uses xNL, xAL, and xCIL Standards of OASIS. This standard was given to OASIS in December 2001.

OASIS CIQ TC Standards namely, xNAL, xNL, and xAL are based on NAML.

xAL also uses some design concepts and principles of Global Address XML Definition of AND Solutions, The Netherlands.

xCIL, an OASIS CIQ TC Standard is based on CIML of MSI Business Systems

xCRL, an OASIS CIQ TC Standard is based on CRML or MSI Business Systems

MSI Business Systems advises that there are no IPR or Patents or licenses associated with NAML, UNA, CIML and CRML. Therefore, xNAL, xNL, xAL, xCIL and xCRL are free of any IPR or patents or licenses associated with MSI.
