- Primary purpose is to enable round tripping between C++ and WSDL
- This work would replace sections 8 and 12 of CD 01
- No longer treat the OMG specification as normative
- Topics to consider (in addition to those noted in comments in the document)
- Should we use doc-literal binding when mapping from C++ to WSDL?
- Impacts mapping of arrays
- Should the mapping be moved to a separate specification document?
- What annotations will be needed in support of this?
(may be addressed under issues 2 and 3)
- Do we need to raise any issues against SDO for a more complete mapping?
- Dates, use of STL lists/vectors, annotations for C++ to schema mapping, ...
