| Minutes | DITA NA meeting summary: very well attended, people taking DITA at face-value now, more about how folks were using DITA instead of how to use DITA. No meeting after the conference due to logistical issues. Discussion of proposal draft. Amber was able to successfully deliver the new proposed shells to a client. Everything appears to be working as intended. Eliot created an interim set of modules, including a small domain module that provides the div element (as it will be in 1.3) Processing shouldn't need to be modified, unless you had created custom processing that would be affected by div. Mark is using strict validation, so will need to test the new schema changes to see if there are any issues. Amber to put in a few additional examples showing feedback with multiple paragraphs. Rest of the group felt they would be beneficial, but not required to be in the proposal. Should be ready to submit this to the TC for moving to the next level after final review. Need to find out from TC how we can make the interim modules available for immediate use due to need in the community. Public should be able to pull them from the OASIS site? We should update our public page. ACTION: All to do a final review of the proposal (#13106). Post any final comments to the mailing list and / or post your final approval by noon on Friday. John will also send a reminder to the list about this call for final review. ACTION: John will send a note to the TC chairs after Friday and will be prepared to present at the TC meeting next Tuesday. Meetings for the 10th and 17th are cancelled. Next meeting on May 24 to review Amber's and Mark's proposals. Scott gives regrets. Amber added a new item to the Triage List:
should be added as part of Learning domain, so it would be available wherever the interactions are available. ACTION: Amber to pull together samples as part of the formal proposal for 13110. ACTION: Mark to write formal proposal 13089 in the formal proposal template. |
