Defer VIRTIO-170: Accessibility - start and end of examples not signaled

Should the TC defer addressing the public review issue VIRTIO-170, for after the specification version(s) "virtio-v1.1-cs01"?

Please vote Yes if you agree with all of the following.
If you disagree, please vote No.
If you don't have an opinion, please vote Abstain.

I move that:
The TC agrees to defer resolving the following specification issue:
VIRTIO-170: Accessibility - start and end of examples not signaled
--------------------------------------
Most of the examples of memory structures being with struct but not all. Moreover, most examples end with }; but not all, for example, under 2.7.21.3.

My usual accessibility checker is offline but if you were reading the text aloud, if the start and end of examples is not uniformly signaled to someone hearing the text, the examples would be much harder to contrast with the surrounding normative text.

An accessibility issue  in general but also a personal one because after nearly 30 years as a diabetic my vision remains normal, but they can't promise how much longer that will be the case. Adding uniform start and end markers won't inconvenience sighted readers and will enhance access to your work for those using assistive technologies.
--------------------------------------

The TC agrees that the issue will not be resolved for the revision
"virtio-v1.1-cs01" of the specification.

Justification:
--------------------------------------
Accessibility is a very important topic to address.

However coming up with a consistent scheme won't be easy.
Currently structures and examples all use C-like language.
Accordingly structure definitions end with "};" while
executable code doesn't.

Further the issue is not new and is present in virtio-v1.0-cs04.

Reminder: A Voting Member must be active in a TC to maintain voting rights. As
the Virtio TC has adopted a standing rule to conduct business only by
electronic ballot, without Meetings, a Voting Member who fails to cast a ballot
in two consecutive Work Product Ballots loses his or her voting rights at the
close of the second ballot missed.
