Description

The membership ballot to approve Key Management Interoperability Protocol Profiles Version 1.3 Candidate OASIS Standard 01 as an OASIS Standard closed on 27 December 2016. The ballot required a minimum of 43 affirmative votes in order to pass. The ballot received 62 affirmative votes (97% of the total) and 2 negative votes (3% of the total) [1]. In accordance with TC Process section 3.4.3, Balloting for OASIS Standard approval, this ballot asks whether the TC wishes TC Administration to approve the COS as an OASIS Standard despite the negative votes. This ballot requires a Special Majority Vote [2]. The TC roster currently lists 30 voting members.
