Gershon moved to accept previous minutes. JoAnn seconded and none opposed.

Gershon had an action item to contact Tony Self and request updates to the DITA plugin to include a customized copyright notice for this TC. JoAnn already Contacted Tony about this.

JoAnn informed that David Hollis will not continue working on SWOT analysis. Action item 5 completed.

New ACTION ITEM: Gershon to find a new owner for SWOT related analysis tasks.

New ACTION ITEM: Gershon to contact Kristen and request instructions for using the new plugin for the Open Toolkit that generates output in OASIS format.

Marc is testing the plugin or OASIS output under different publishing tools and will report back about it in a future meeting.

Gershon invited all members to sign up for reviewing the architectural specs. Joann informed that DITA specs have been reviewed several times and have been modified as result. Additional reviews are required.

New ACTION ITEM: Gershon to add the work on acronyms done by the translations sub-committee to the agenda. JoAnn explained that the article would need some changes to be published under this TC’s umbrella.

Su-Laine wrote an article about DITA awareness in different tools. JoAnn asked Su-Laine to make an updated version of the article available to this TC. Discussion will continue when TC members get access to the text and can comment on it.

Marc received comments from Chris Goolsby on his draft feature description on domain and topic integration. New ACTION ITEM: Marc to convert the article to DITA format.

Gershon volunteered to write new articles about DITA 1.2 features, but that work will have to wait until the work on DITA 1.2 specs is finished.

Marc would work on an article about the new chunking features. Gershon and JoAnn suggested a few use cases for that subject.

New ACTION ITEM: Gershon to add an article that explains ways for sharing content among groups and customizing for own use.

Rodolfo passed a draft of his article on using XLIFF to translate DITA files to Gershon and JoAnn. Action Item 6 completed. Rodolfo will convert it to DITA format and upload the files.

Frank would write an article about conref in DITA, including use cases and code examples.

The list of feature articles published at the wiki was revised.

New ACTION ITEM: Gershon to setup a shared screen option for next meeting for testing the online shell/specialization generator created by Jarno Elovirta.

Su-Laine wrote a Tools and DITA Awareness topic. From the DITA TC minutes: Consensus that it won't be part of the spec. Jeff had some comments. What is next step? Adoption TC? JoAnn thought it would be appropriate, fits along with Compliance List for example. Consensus to do so--this will go to JoAnn for the Adoption TC.

* From Tony Self: For some time, I have been trying to get Swinburne University involved in OASIS, and have finally made some progress. They might be able to add something to the UNESCO venture, so I wanted to keep tabs on what’s happening in that area. I will keep you informed of developments at my end.

* OASIS needs a list of organizations that intend to use one or more DITA 1.2 features

* Add to the SWOT analysis wiki, which we will turn into a best practice document
* Work with the Matthew Varghese on use cases for DITA. Add to the wiki on this subject

Review JoAnn's article on the 1.2 specification and Kristen's page (moved from the DITA TC to the Adoption TC)
* Review the proposed changes for the dita.xml.org on the wiki.
* Discuss plans for assisting the DITA TC with the documentation for the multiple packages for DITA 1.2.
* We now have multiple wiki pages for the issues that we are discussing. Several of these should lead to best practice documents.
