3. Action Items.
Revise Section 5.
Patrick made some suggestions about modifications to Section 5. It was agreed that the wording in each part should be consistent throughout the section. Patrick will upload the new wording and an electronic ballot will be created for the TC to vote on acceptance.

https://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/ICOM-15 30-Day Public Review Comment 7
Laura moved and Eric seconded that issue 15 be marked as resolved and then closed. The motion passed unanimously.
https://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/ICOM-17 30-Day Public Review Comment 9
Laura moved and Eric seconded that issue 17 be marked as resolved and then closed. The motion passed unanimously.
5. Discussion of the java.net article series.
Laura uploaded a first draft for the next article in the java.net series. This article will deal with the extensions. Various suggestions were made. Laura asked the committee to think about a possible running example for the paper. Laura mentioned that the guidelines for java.net articles recommend that an article be 2000 to 3000 words.
6. Eric moved and Ken seconded that icom_meta:EntityDefinition be changed to icom_meta:ClassDefinition. The rationale was that it applies to nonentities so the name was confusing. The word "class" is more generic. The motion passed unanimously.
7. Issue for the translation to OWL as part of ICOM v2.
(a) additional property type "Any".
The issue is that every property is currently required to have a type. However, at least one property (namely, the default value of a property) can have any type. So there are at least two ways to deal with such properties:
Introduce a property type representing any possible value (essentially equivalent to the Java Object class).
Allow the property type to be unspecified.
The issue was not resolved so Ken moved and Eric seconded that the issue be tabled. The motion passed unanimously.
To revisit the issue we need to untable. As this is concerned with version 2, it is not urgent.
