EricChan: Roll Call: Laura, Peter, Patrick, Eric
EricChan: Laura asked if the ICOM TC Meeting start time is officially changed to 8:45 AM PDT
EricChan: Peter requested that at a previous TC Meeting due to overlap with another working group meeting using the same conf bridge
PeterYim: so we will start, routinely, at 8:45am PT, from now on, until further notice
EricChan: To read: ... 3. Announcement.  Our WISE 2012 submission was accepted!  Laura has agreed to represent the authors at the WISE
2012 workshop.  Many
thanks to Stefan Decker for his support to Laura's travel.
EricChan: TC Minute is approved (Peter will re-post it to the distribution list)
EricChan: I motioned and Peter seconded the motion to approve the TC Minute from Oct 17
EricChan: Ballot to approve the CSPRD 05 candidate is closed and approval was unanimously
PeterYim: ^(I was re-posting my earlier suggested changes ... as it got bounced by the oasis mailing list mechanism.)
EricChan: Laura is planning to work on the java.net article part 2 over the next two weeks
EricChan: Eric to check with the editor regarding the acceptable format and length. it is alright to break the article to part 2 or 3 if the length exceeds the recommendation
EricChan: java.net part 2 will include the UML diagrams from CSPRD 05 candidate
Laura: the html template for the article is in svn - once we have the text in a ~final form, it should be easy to put in the template
EricChan: we expect the java.net article to be published after WISE 2012 presentation
EricChan: Eric motioned and Peter seconded for Laura to be first author for java.net article
EricChan: we have email threads about representing bidirectional relationships and disjointness constraints. Eric summarized the solutions proposed in the email
PeterYim: [decision] the motion: "that Laura will be first author for java.net article" - passed unanimously
EricChan: regarding agenda item 7, Peter suggest identifying the major players in social network and invite them to represent and contribute to ICOm V2
EricChan: Patrick suggest researching background material, such as 6 degree of separation
EricChan: network model (FOAF)
EricChan: interaction model (1. Twitter blogs and subscriptions, 2. Wall paper, etc.)
PeterYim: Eric, Peter & All: "social network", "social media" & "networking & collaboration on mobile devices" ... are they different, or different facets of the same collaboration space we are trying to tackle?
EricChan: media may include multi-media and mobility model
EricChan: TC Meeting was adjourned.

2. Minutes of the meeting on October 17.

3. Suggestion for handling minutes in the future.

Motion: Write all motions and votes in the chat room.  Then collect them into the minutes of the meeting.

4. Discussion of Draft 5.  The ballot will have been closed by the time of this meeting.  If it has been approved, then a request will be made to submit Draft 05 for review.

5. [Laura] Discussion of the second java.net article.

6. Discussion of bidirectional relationships and disjointness constraints.

7. If there is time, plan for ICOM v2 to define social network model. (see the TC Charter http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/icom/charter.php)

8. As time allows, continue discussion of the goals of the TC and plans for dissemination.
