[08:45] PeterYim: . = ICOM TC Meeting: 6 February 2013, 8:45 - 9:45 AM PST = . [08:53] EricChan: carol.geyer@oasis-open.org is responsible for PR for Committee Specification [08:55] KenBaclawski: The JIRA ticket for the CS progress is https://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/TCADMIN-1178 [09:09] EricChan: see requirements for W3C member submissions at www.w3c.org/Submission/1996/Template. [09:09] EricChan: http://www.w3c.org/Submission/1996/Template [09:15] KenBaclawski: DERI is a member of W3C, so this topic is tabled until we can discuss it with Laura or Deirdre.
[09:25] PeterYim: our key issue is still to get traction, and probably the best approach is to get more key members (in the collaboration domain) to join the ICOM
[09:41] EricChan: consider interoperation with facebook OpenGraph API/protocol through social plug-in exposing ICOM objects, see [09:43] KenBaclawski: I will look into translating ICOM to OData. This is could expose an ICOM-compliant system as an OData endpoint, and OData would be willing to post it on its website. [09:44] EricChan: to interoperate with google open social, there is open source project http://shindig.apache.org/ [09:48] EricChan: Odata to CMIS Bridge project: https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/cmis/email/archives/201212/msg00014.html [09:49] KenBaclawski: Peter asked if the meeting could be moved 15 minutes later for the next meeting only. Everyone agreed that this is okay.
