Statements from ChargePoint, Inc., posted November 29, 2016

OASIS has received notification from Jonathan Kaplan, General Counsel of ChargePoint, Inc., of the following claims:

'Any wireless network-based charging infrastructure will very likely necessarily practice one or more claims of ChargePoint's U.S. Patent No. 7,956,570. Depending on the protocol that is finally proposed, it is possible that U.S. practitioners of the OCPP standard will necessarily practice other U.S. Patents of ChargePoint, as well.'

ChargePoint also has raised other concerns regarding the TC's products and process, which are reflected in the correspondence dated September 23, 2015, October 15, 2015, August 17, 2016, August 31, 2016, September 6, 2016, September 12, 2016, and November 4, 2016 in the PDF file available here: https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/ocpp/iprdocument20161129.pdf.
