Status of UBL 2.0 input/output specifications development - 2007-11-04

Input specifications

For input specifications, a project member has proposed how to progress towards formal expressions of the information:

Output specifications

For output specifications, work has started first converting the UBL 1.0 specifications to new formal structures for UBL 2.0 specifications that enable more automated implementation of layouts according to the United Nations Layout Key (UNLK) for trade facilitation:

The specification of the invoice has been completed, and a freely-available implementation of UBL 2.0 Invoice to UNLK UN380 Invoice PDF can be downloaded and deployed without encumbrance from a vendor:
