[1] The 2023 Annual Report, now ready for download, showcases our members’ impactful work, including the recipients of the Distinguished Contributor Awards and Open Cup Awards. Your dedication and contributions have been instrumental in shaping the progress detailed within this report. I encourage you to take a moment to explore its contents and share it with those interested in OASIS. 

[2] The 2023 OASIS Open & Associates Financial Review is available. These financial statements include the operations of OASIS and its subsidiary groups. In 2023, the Board of Directors approved the motion for an independent review of the organization's financial statements. 

Thank you for your ongoing commitment and support to the OASIS community. We take pride in our collective achievements and look forward to fostering innovation and driving positive change together.

20^th Anniversary of the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP)

2024 Annual CAP Implementation Workshop

2024 heralds the twentieth (20th) anniversary of the year CAP was first approved as an OASIS Standard, (2004). From then OASIS Open CAP v1.2 has been adopted by more than 90% of the world.

2024 CAP Implementation Workshop will be held 23-24 October 2024 in Leuven, Belgium.

Everyone interested in emergency alerting is welcome: managers, technical staff, media, etc., including government, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and commercial firms. There is no charge to participate, but all participants need to pay for their own travel expenses.

If you have CAP implementation experiences or insights to share, please let the Program Committee know that you want to give one of the 20-minute presentations. You can contact the Program Committee by e‑mail to Workshop Chair: Eliot J. Christian@gmail.com.

On 22 October in the same venue, CAP Training will be held 9:00 to noon and a Traveller Information Services Association (TISA) Workshop in the afternoon.
